Taranis take-off failure

The European launcher Vega was eagerly awaited to take off last night, but it finally failed... Indeed, at T+8 minutes before take-off, the ground teams noticed a deviation in the telemetry data. Unable to catch up with its trajectory, the upper stage never reached orbit with its satellites, including Taranis. It probably disintegrated on re-entering the atmosphere somewhere in the North Atlantic.

The work of the teams mobilised around this project resumed this morning with the analysis and correction of this failure in order to plan a new flight as soon as possible...To be continued.

A small consolation prize for today...the poster of the Taranis project.
